I'm not a collector, as a matter of personal philosophy. However, I have been an avid comic art enthusiast since childhood. While it's unlikely that I'll ever find the time to upload my entire collection here, I'm planning to highlight some of my more recent acquisitions [with a few older exceptions]. My goal is to promote the work of these incredibly talented artists, some of whom I am fortunate enough to call friends [and who have gently propelled me to do this! ;) ].

A few topics that come up often:

- Now and then I receive messages from members here interested in buying or selling pieces. While I'm always happy to look, as a rule, I purchase art directly from artists, or at least in a way that would benefit them. But of course there are exceptions and specific circumstances. If you were to show me a piece by Marc Hempel, or Massimiliano Frezzato, it's possible I'd be physically incapable of saying no. Pieces in my gallery are not available to purchase. At the moment the only way to "see everything" would be to find your way either to my home or my Plex server.

- My favourite artists... question that comes up all the time and doesn't really have an answer. It's a very long list and it often depends on my state of mind. But, off the top of my head as I'm writing this, and just to give you a general idea [yes you may notice a trend]: Marc Hempel, Massimiliano Frezzato, Miguelanxo Prado, Enrique Breccia, Olivier Vatine, Pascal Croci, Tony Sandoval, Mindy Lee, Vũ Danh, Andrea Serio ... and the list goes on...

- Morpheus has been my favourite mythological figure since childhood. I have enjoyed reading both the ancient literature and the modern day books and comics revolving around him. I've also collected and translated a great deal of lesser known stories and oral traditions involving various versions of the character. Many of these stories describe Morpheus as having "night-coloured" wings, which is why you'll see a lot of that in my gallery.

- I don't professionally do anything related to, well, this. [At least in any official capacity.] That ⇙ is a sketch of me and my "work" by David Hitchcock [I'm a roboticist], and a couple more of my favourite robots.

- Marc Hempel was the first comic artist whose style really caught my eye—I was about 6! [I'm also a huge fan of his life-long collaborator, Mark Wheatley.]

- Massimiliano Frezzato, I don't quite have the words for how I feel about his work [remind me to add more of it soon].

- Vũ Danh was an incredible artist, a wondereful human being and a dear friend. We lost him too soon.

- And here's some more of my favourites, in no particular order.
